I had 2 of these back in 1987 (Yellow and Pink) rockin' through a Laney 100 AOR amp.

I now have the Prestiege 20th anniversary (1987) RG550 in black. I'm too old to sport the dayglow these days.

That was a first guitar I bought to my son when he was 10 yo. The only difference it was deep blue but not gay pink. Anyways, congrats on that. Just another 10..20 years plus and you'll buy Gibson.

I just got an Ibanez a few days ago. It's a really well designed and built instrument. I have an LP traditional and an original 67 SG and the Ibanez blows them both away. I think the Ibanez is even nicer than the custom shop Jackson I have.

Nice. My first bass was an Ibanez back when I was a kid and into metal.

Like 60s garage / punk. Almost psychadelic even without a pedal. A sound I can't duplicate on my Gibson.

I havent played guitar in a lonnnggg time but recently started getting a serious itch again... I bought a hollow body Epiphone 2 weeks ago but also gave some consideration to buying a 7 string Ibanez. I figured if I was going to relearn things all over why not take it a step further and relearn on a 7 string.

I bought the Epiphone because it sounds great and its very versatile across many styles.

The Ibanez JEN7V I just got is scalloped from 21-24. It is a nice feature.

I will say that I do like this guitar and the way it plays.

I never owned a guitar with a scalloped neck, but have played on a few YJM strats and I really like it. Sure makes for awesome vibrato along with many other benefits.

why wouldn't you scallop the rest?

Also, many years ago I had an Ibanez EX (there was a # after but forget what it was) along with a Marshall Valvestate 8080, but ended up lending it to a friend for his band and never got the stuff back. Stupid mistake on my part. I will NEVER lend anything to anyone ever again. Unless then give me a cash security deposit of the actual price of the item it is not leaving my sight.

Love the color and style I just bought me a new setup myself a line 6 head and a marshall cab the guitar is a diamond 6 series pretty smooth with killer emg's sorry for spelling im so freaking tired..
