There's SOMETHING big going on, that's for sure...
 

I live pretty much smack dab between CFB Trenton and CFB Petawawa in ONtario (they are two major military bases, petawawa is a jumping off point). Generally we will have aircraft go by on manouvers, but umm..the last week there have been hercules transport aircraft going over the house every three hours like clockwork, and you can tell they're loaded up. They fly right at the treeline pretty much as well. Not only that, we're off the major highways, but still provide a clear route between the bases. THey've been moving heavy artillary through town on transport trucks, and what I've seen under the cloth that flies up has fresh desert paint. They're moving troop buses through town here too. That would tell me SOMETHING is going on, but they're keeping it off the major highways (it cuts 45 minutes off the trip) to keep down the exposure on it, I'm assuming. They did the same thing after Sept 11th. Less than a week after all the hubub, it was officially announced that we were sending troops over. Things are going to get interesting, to be sure.

Here's to hoping cool heads will prevail in the world, with the knowledge they probably won't.

Yep, seems like George is getting ready to pop his guns out of the holster any day now. Keeping CNN on 24 7 to see the fireworks show start. Word is the first blasts will be 10 times what the last show had.

I'm surprised papa bush hasn't already started blowing shit up. He seems to have some sort of personal plot against iraq.

I heard something about a war or something.

Being in Canada it's all a bit disturbing. I think Canada will have more a presence in this war than they did in Afganistan. Either way, the great engine of war is in motion.
