Globill BS?

I signed up with Globill last year October to use them as a backup processor and my account has been receiving sales from that date. I didn't send in my contract untill a week ago because I didn't need the money and I didn't want to receive small weekly checks as my sales were developing.

I called them this morning and asked when they are sending my check and they said the 22nd March. I then asked the guy why they held back payments for 4 weeks and he said to protect them against fraud and chargebacks (which I knew but I wanted him to tell me).

So if they received sales from my sites in October last year then the 4 week period is long past and they have had the benefit of my money since then which I didn't mind but to tell me I have to wait another 4 weeks on sales that were done months ago because my contract was only received a week ago is a load of bullshit.

What the hell kind of policy is that? You would expect them to release any money to you the next week seeing as the 4 week waiting period for possible fraud and chargebacks was months ago. Has anyone else experienced this?

Why didn't you just send in your contract, and raise your minimum payout amount?

My question too besides if you actually read the contract.. it already tells you what happens if you didn't return the contract :winkwink:

Yeah, I gotta' say...I use GloBill. They seem very professional to me.

The policy is four weeks after they get the contract back. Essentially, before you sent in the contract, you had not actual arrangement with them.

Doesn't seem that strange to me.

I mean, I understand your point. Four weeks from when you started with them is past, but for them the clock starts running when they get the contract.

You didn't bother to send a contract in so had no agreement with them and then bitch when they stick to the terms explained to you at the start?

Good grief. I hear McD's is hiring. You certainly aren't cut out to run any kind of business.

I think that most people who get to compare Globill to other services for a while come away impressed with Globill's honesty, their responsiveness, and their savviness. I was with Globill when all this stuff with the credit card companies erupted last year and it didn't cause so much as a ripple in my pond.
