Bucks now have Payton and Cassell at point now, something else is up yet

milwaukee came out big time with this deal..not only do they geta very strong and potent backcourt but now they can finally let Sam I Am go...

payton is a free agent at the end of the year. so if they dumped cassell they'd have to sign someone or bring back payton. maybe they're gonna go after kidd next year?

Im not convinced it was so good for the bucks. I wish they could have gotten a power forward for allen. They will basically be stuck in the same situation with no front court game.

Sonics also traded Kenny Anderson for Elden Campbell, not sure who they're planning on playing point the rest of the year.

I don't see him listed on their roster (ESPN), did they just pick him up? I'm more of a college fan so I don't really keep up with rosters

I'm just glad they left the Pacers out of the fold , read a few places they was wanting to make it a 3 team thing, But the Pacers GM said that was not true. But Last year he also said Rose was not going to be traded.

Two superstars who hadn't taken care of business and needed a change of scenery. But the Bucks get D. Mason in addition to Payton, and have just become the most talented team in the East.

Payton would of been gone after this season anyway. He's not worth the 13mil he's getting this season in my opinion.

Yeah I just saw the complete trade...God damn the Bucks are gonna be serious the rest of the season... Imagine if you throw Payton,Anthony Mason,Desmond Mason and Tim Thomas on the court together,you don't even need a 5 to make that a complete team :glugglug wheeeew I'm now a Bucks fan lol

well yes in the respect that desmond mason and payton are better than what you got but considering the fact that you guys werent going to resign payton you got the best end of this deal because if you kept payton you would lose him at the end of the year... you got ray allen who is very good and kevin ollie for desmond mason basicly... how can you not like that?

Ray Allen is soft and basically one dimensional, pure shooter - you aren't going to win any championships with a max money player like that, especially in a place like Milwaukee where no owner is ever going to go over the luxury tax threshold.

I think the deal was mostly about money - Kohl is putting the Bucks up for sale. Payton's a free agent at the end of the season.

The East is weak, anybody could win it and go to the Finals, Payton is more likely to take you there than Ray Allen.
