Went out with Jscott last night and went big on a new tattoo
 
He didn't think I would do it and lost $100 + all my drinks for the night when I did. I'm a big Mike Tyson fan and I love the latest Hangover movie shot in Bangkok, so it's all good.

I listened to a Mike Tyson interview recently where he kept explaining how he had to go to bed at 7:30pm, which is why he didn't drink or party. When asked why he had to go to bed so early, he kept explaining that he had to wake up at 1:30 am to do 3hrs of cardio. It was all really odd, confusing and dissatisfying.

No. He goes to bed super early and then wakes up around 3:00 am to feed his pigeons (yes, he has pet pigeons) and do a long cardio workout at home. Then, a few hours later, he goes to the gym to lift weights. He's super disciplined, apparently. Hence why he's in fantastic shape right now. He says he doesn't want to become one of those athletes who just gets old and fat. Can't say as I blame him. Say what you will about Tyson but the guy's definitely fascinating. Half insane, but fascinating.

AHHHH.. yeah, i knew about the pigeons. That makes more sense. He actually did say that. He said he got up at 1:30, did 3hrs of cardio and then waited for his trainer to come at 7:30 am or something like that. When pressed, he just passively mentioned he spent time with his birds until his trainer came. It makes more sense if its a case where they need time and attention. It just came out very weird and sounded really odd.

No problemo, buddy! Did you hear it on Adam Carolla's podcast? That's where I heard it. Very interesting interview. I had no idea about the pigeons. Almost everything Tyson says sounds really odd.
