Do these sites convert well and if so what percentage usually retains for at least one paid month? Porn Kings is always pushing them. Anyone had any luck?

Roger has a pretty good marketing speal behind it and I'll let him do his marketing touch to answer you. But the general idea is if you can't convert a $1 for 30 day member, you won't be able to convert much else.

For the more avanced webmasters, why take 1$ when one can obviously make more at the end of the day by keeping it in house.

I have never understood this philosophy.

It started with FreeZineBucks people rushed for dollar signups, I was one of them, meanwhile the Hawgs hit em with ClickCash popups and make $20 plus (obviously they make more than 1g a week so their pay rate is much more for $35 a signup) the whole time off of your 1sign up traffic.

I rather keep ait in house.

Im sure Roger will be here talking of 'the bottomline' etc... yeah yeah heard it all before.

In certain niches, the pseudo value that the consumer perceives from the price, is important.

Free trials are different, only because thats exactly what they are... a small trial.

But... 30 days for $1... not much perceived value there.

That said, Roger knows what he's doing and what he's talking about, so my guess is it converts real well. =)

From what I've seen Roger post about it before, it converts from the $1 trial to thirtysomething a month better than a 3 day or 5 day trial because the member doesn't feel pressured to cancel right away and checks everything out.

So I guess it works the same as paying per sign up on a 3 day trial, except you have to wait longer for the rebills to add up.

Your right Fletch, the bottom line is what matters most and that's why I still promote those $2.95 trials because when I do the math at the end of the pay periods I still earn more on those $40-$45 per paid joins. It depends on your traffic, my traffic know the porn is not free and they are willing to pay for it. If they see it for free (free trials) or for $1, they get suspicious. I tried it both ways, the best way for my traffic is paid join tour and free joins on exits. It's all relative on your traffic, people should understand their surfers and present their ads accordingly.

stocktrader23's original question asked if we convert well, just answering :) Why send it to me if you can make more than $25? Easy answer. Our conversions are very good. Look at your bottom line. I could give you $50/trial, but convert 1:1000 or I could give you $25/trial and convert MUCH BETTER = you more $. You know it is the $ in the check that counts, Fletch.

I do what works for me. You do what you do to get affiliates, I do what I do to get paid. Thats the bottom line.

The problem is your whole marketing strategy never wants to admit the possibility of me having more control over my traffic and making more with it.

I deal in niches you have never heard of, and even if you did you wouldnt know how to market it.

Trust me, I have no use for ChickenHeadWhores, I wouldnt know how to convert it.

My 'bottom line' is I do what works for me. The problem is youre too determined to get people to push you that you are blinded to that possibility of control I mentioned earlier.

I predicted your response and knew it would come, either from you or Roger himself. When you yourself have been in my situations and experiences then tell me what will work the best, until then, ive tried your method, and I rather mine.

When I first looked at thwem the html was not lining up on most of them and had horrible tables at the bottom with phone numbers for live sex etc.

This was months ago, I formed an opinion then, just as I have now.

Gaining affiliates You think I don't see the other side I'm on the other side as well and so are the Sponsors and webmasters who promote us and are very happy. you think they don't understand how to make the most off there traffic.

I don't know your niches because I have no idea what you have but I bet if I did, I would know how to market it.

So explain to me whats the other side of this argument.
