Most of them when the team is winning.

Lace 02-06-2013 08:53 PM

You think? I'd like to see 200k people show up to a Superbowl parade/celebration. Was a great time.

40,000 showing up in 10 below zero and staying to the end even when their team loses is much more impressive

Glad you had a great time. I'm an Anquan Boldin fan...
But rating fans based on how they are after winning the Super Bowl is misguided ;)

-10 below and I'd definitely be at home!

Not after winning. This is everywhere you go in Maryland, all year round. The support is INSANE. :winkwink:

Case in point: Philadelphia Eagles (sans the below zero temps)

Final two home games of this past season, when the Eagles record going into those games was 4-10 and 4-11:

Keep in mind that Lincoln Financial Field has a seating capacity of 68,532 (69,144 with standing room only tickets).

Week 15: vs. Cincinnati Bengals

at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Date: December 13
Game time: 8:20 p.m. EST
Game weather: 36 °F (2 °C), cloudy
Game attendance: 69,144

Week 16: vs. Washington Redskins

at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Date: December 23
Game time: 1:00 p.m. EST
Game weather: 40 °F (4 °C), sunny
Game attendance: 69,144

Eagles fans have gotten a bad rep over the years, but one thing that can't be denied is their love of and loyalty to their team...winning or losing.

HandballJim 02-06-2013 09:58 PM

NY and Pittsburgh for sure :2 cents:

Ravens are my 2nd favorite team behind my home team (Chargers). I just like the team they strive to be year in and year out.

That IS impressive - I don't deny that. But if they were playing teams not heading in the playoffs, like my Chargers or the Browns or something, not sure if there would have been that many in attendance. Redskins especially is a pretty obvious one with RG3, who pretty much had rookie of the year locked up. There's some sense of pride saying you saw a player like that in his rookie season (if he ends up having a long illustrious career).

sperbonzo 02-07-2013 09:03 AM

Sorry but, The Packers are definitely the best fans.

They ALWAYS sell out, every single game, including preseason and exhibition matches, no matter how badly the team is doing.

Everyone always stays until the final whistle, even if it's a blow out and it's raining.

The waiting time for season tickets is about 30 years, and parents will them to their children.

There is always a solid showing at every away game.

They NEVER boo their own team, no matter how much they might screw up.

There is no other fan base that is that loyal. Even from '88 to '92, when they were always in the basement, every game was still sold out and fully attended.

I don't think booing your team if your not happy with things that are going on necessarily questions your loyalty. For an NFL fan, booing is the best way to smack your friend upside the head and say, "dude, what the fuck are you thinking?"

NaughtyRob 02-07-2013 12:01 PM

The Steelers. Fans ALL over the nation not just in Pittsburgh. Best fans for sure.

LeRoy 02-07-2013 12:03 PM

Cowboys!!

America's team :thumbsup

MattO 02-07-2013 12:04 PM

You mean like running out the clock when you have 32 seconds left, 2 timeouts remaining, only need a field goal to win and Payton Manning is your QB? What the fuck was up with that?

Agreed. Just about any team that wins the Super Bowl can get a turn out like that for the celebration.
