3 months recurring chargeback risk ?

Chargeback
How the biller count the chargeback ?
Let's say a customer chargeback 3 months of subscription ($29.90x3) gthat recurring monthly, it is count as 1 or 3 chargeback ?
Do they count the payment amount of chargeback too ?

Recurring
How high is your chargeback of 3 months $59.90 recurring compare to monthly recurring ? Double or triple ?
I plan to set the 3 months recurring as $49.90, is it worth the risk ?

Yes it's worth the risk. From my understanding it's not just the amount of chargebacks it's the total value of them.

You will make far more recurring sales than you will get chargebacks, assuming you offer a decent product that is

Regarding your first example, it would come through as 3 separate chargeback cases, each one hitting you closer to that 1% mark. Dealing with these for over a year I've had CBs come through that were billed monthly for 6 months and all of them came back as a chargeback, each being their own case counting as 6 CBs. I ran with a 90%+ win rate but we actual run support for members to deal with any questions, complaints, etc. immediately.

As for the risk, it really depends on what kind of site you're running and if you're doing any kind of support for your members. Keep in mind even if you do plan to fight the CBs, win or lose they still count against your ratio. What type of site are you running? Adult dating, solo girl, vids, etc?

You are absolutely correct. Customer service and good content is key here. Handling customer service yourself or having someone with the services like what NETbilling provides gives you a great amount of control and the ability to fight the chargebacks when you want to as well.
