Anyone else member of a dance troupe here?
 

My dance troupe recently started studying some classic Backstreet Boys choreographies and I must say, it is a totally different standard compared to more modern styles.

Take PSY's "Gangnam Style" for example. Once you master his signature move, there really is not much of a challenge to get ALL the guys to display the set in harmony. The choreo to "Everybody" on the other hand took us weeks to master.

Anyone else part of a troupe, what do you think about newer moves compared to the classics?

these performers nowadays are trying to create a 'dance trend' with the moves, so when ppl hear it in a club they immediately start the routine - back in the days, it was part of the video clip, it was the ' trend of the 90's', I guess.
