Adult Co's who change business name and bank frequently...
 

This is quite likely a very naive question however i'll ask none the less.

Why do some adult companies continually change their business name and bank?

I have a cheque sitting in front of me and it is the 3rd different company name and bank in three periods from the same adult company.

So six weeks, three banks and three different company names.

What the hell is the go with that?

I guess what i'm really trying to say is, should alarm bells be ringing?

That normally happens when companies lose their merchant account for doing shady stuff.

argh, I really hope you' are wrong with the 'shady stuff' as this co has been converting :Oh crap

Agree, not always the case as some companies go through mergers/acquisitions, etc., but if it changes that frequently then it is usually a red flag that the company keeps losing merchant accounts and it is a good thing to set the clock for the point where the affiliate eventually gets burned. :2 cents:

Ok so I went back for a closer look.

Two cheques from the same bank, however two different company names and two different branches of the bank (different states) and third cheque is different company name and bank.

This is not normally a sign of stability:2 cents:
