Paperwork for shooting a scene

Hey guys , im wondering if someone could tell me what sort of paperwork I need for shooting a scene?
Is it only the release contract I need to get the girls to sign, or something else?
Thanks

Depends where your shooting? USA? China?

2257 docs are very important. Do some research.

You don't file any documents. I use a model release form and I shoot a picture of their ID.

Here in the U.S. that is what you have to keep to show to authorities under the US 2257 regulations. (basically the same thing we always did anyway before 2257)

There's a little bit of specific wording you want in there. But a search on Google should get you a template to start with and you can tweek it out to suit your needs from there.

Ok , thanks for the info. Appreciated!
Im not sure if you know , but since this being in Europe, would I need anything else than a model release form + photo of her ID?

I don't know, that's all I use here in the U.S.

Just make sure to do some google research so that your model release form is legally binding.

Afterwards, you're going to need to keep copies of that paperwork and ID filed. Most billing processors require you to keep records in accordance to 2257 rules...

That is unless you're a pirate site.
Then they just allow you to have billing with open arms and no rules. :(

Anyone else know what I need the girls to sign during a shoot in Europe?
Is a model release contract and photo of ID enough?

*maybe* get a vid clip of them holding their ID stating they are sober and there on their own volition.

one thing I always did was scan the check I wrote for the model and then had her sign and date that printed out scan of the check. Stapled to the model release it just proved that I paid the model incase the model came back at me saying I never paid her.
