3 Tornados And Wild Weather Are Hammering Us Atm
 

We had a Cyclone downgrade to a depression off the coast here, we have had torrential rain and loads of flooding (none at my place atm thank fug) but A Mini Tornado hit a suburb near us in the last hour, since then two more have formed and all this in Australia (QLD) lol.

Had three days of torrential rain now and supposed to have a few more.

Dam i did not know you guys were getting it that bad

It's pretty full on atm, 17 people injured from the Tornado's so far and over 150 homes damaged, not good for Australia day.

Na we don't have basements or cellars here. The Tornado's were a freak thing they reckon, the rain is the main issue. We are pretty prepared (happens at least once a year here) for heavy flooding (we've had over 800MM in 24hrs and its still coming)

Thanks buddy. FYI!!! I've never made light of the terrible storms you guys get in the US, ever! They're bad and ya would never wish it on anyone. Doesn't stop a few dickheads from trying to crap on with shit though because I post some pics of us Aussies going through this...

Didn't mean to"put down" anyone or any place. "mini tornados" are not a natural disaster here, they are a minor annoyance. Your flooding, however is an entirely different matter and I wish you the best. I was merely pointing out that you really don't know what big winds are because you are not used to them but I also wish you the best in dealing with that. Did NOT mean to offend you. I just woke up and am only on my second cuppa and third cig so I perhaps didn't consider that my attempt a humor in the face of problems would not be well accepted.

I failed to remember that tornados are very shocking to those who are not accustomed to them. Around here when the sirens blow, we grab a beer and go out on the front porch to watch.

Sometimes it's like, "Well, our shit got blown away again!"

At any rate please accept my apology for offending you and please do not think that I am in amy way trying to minimize the effect of your inclement weather.

Damn, those Kansas tornado pictures are scary.

Good luck...Americans have become desensitized by the media. "Super storm sandy" and shit, the only reason that made headlines is cause it washed away rich white folks' beach houses.....and every year there is a new tragedy. "Snow-mageddon" ppfftt....as if.

Looks like an F1 tornado at most. It might not seem like it, but you got really lucky.
