Making sense of the Iraq situation

The way I understand the situation with Iraq:

Reason for war:

Iraq was ordered by the UN to disarm their weapons of mass destruction. Ten years later, Iraq has not properly disarmed. Weapon inspectors are there to see what measures Iraq has taken to comply with UN demands. Iraq should be able to display some documents reguarding how, when, where, and what weapons they have destroyed. There should be some documented status reguarding known weapons of mass destruction. Instead Inspectors are expected to find weapons and prove Iraq is in violation. Why can't Iraq come foward and explain and show proof of what happened to these weapons?Everyone knows they had them.

Sadam as a Dictator:

I often wonder how it would be to rule a entire country. No congress to answer to. Nobody to run agaisnt you. Nobody who would even dare question your commands. Being a dictator is absolute control and power. When one man is in position to use a entire country's economic and military power at his demand. Sadam has proven to be a hostile man. A hostile man as a dictator equals a entire hostile country. No checks or balances to keep him level. I am sure that I don't have to go into detail about his actions to prove he is hostile.

Why Now, why not North Korea?

I think post 911 caused the United States to react towards any possible threat to US security. Great efforts have been made to counter terroist activity. While the USA has failed to capture one man ( Oshama Bin Laden ), it shouldnt stop and ignore all other threats until he is captured. I am sure the effort to capture Bin Laden is still being executed, just not covered by the media.
North Korea is on the fast track to self destruction. Not enough diplomatic effort has been given towards the North Korea issue yet to determind how the situation should be handled. War is always a last resort. North Korea still has room for a diplomatic approach. Iraq has had a decade to reason diplomaticly reguarding the weapons disarming issue.

This is just how I understand it. I am open to more logical explanations.

The way I understand the situation with Iraq:

Reason for war:

In the US, we're all pretty simple minded about things like this. You ask us reason for a war? Like a mountain, because its there.

Sadam as a Dictator:

You think we live in a democracy over here? Hehehe, NOT! Bill Gates is covertly controlling the entire US through a trojan back door in Windows XP.

Why Now, why not North Korea?

We all grew up playing with our GI Joe's so now we want to play for real.
