How to re-download purchased music from iTunes?

Is there a way to do this or am I fucked?
Forgot to backup my music before reinstalling new system.

Can only see an option to download bought apps and books.

Ya might be screwed... But I'd hit up support and ask em to audit your account activity and re-submit authorization for each song.. Sucky as it is you might be able to threaten a chargeback since you no longer have access to any of the songs...

All your music should be available from Purchases within the iTunes store. You must be logged in to the store to access that area.

I have logged in and authorized my computer, but when I click the Purchased link I only get a list of bought apps and books. No list of music.

All your purchases should be clouded. If you can't get them from purchases that is a support issue. Have your id and account info.

As a tip from personal experience, do NOT try to download like 500 songs at once. It will fail and you'll have ghosted itunes downloads forever. Do like 20 at a time.

Good luck

several videos on youtube will walk you through how to export your iDevice music back into iTunes ...

It's not very hard to do once you know how ...

Just got email from support. They restored most of my music (all not modified or removed from store since purchase) for re-download. Not something they usually do so now backing up everything to cloud.

Thanks for all replies.

This is one of the reasons I'm steering away from Apple towards Android! :2 cents:
