I'm not really a webmaster...

hi. i started making amateur videos 3 years ago and now i have this website/online store.

sales are good, but i find myself spending more time tinkering with my humble site than i want to. i'd prefer to spend my time making movies, not trying to sell them.

i'm looking for a way to convert this content into cash quickly, through non-exclusive content sales or, better yet, by finding someone who would be interested in purchasing exclusive rights to my stuff.

please take a look:

Amateur-Sugar

any advice and/or expressions of interest would be welcome.

Honestly, if sales have been promising I would get someone to help you run the site. There are lots of folks who would be willing to help you for a cut of the profits. Personally I try to always keep as much control of my projects as possible. Giving up control of your videos would be a big mistake in my opinion.

You might want to consider licensing some of the video for use on paysites, but I wouldn't sell the exclusive rights to anyone UNLESS you absolutely can't make it otherwise.

You make a good point.

I guess the thing is that I have another career I'm trying to get started, and working on porn is already taking too much time. That's the main reason I'd be interested in selling exclusive rights to the content. I'm only asking about $1,000/hour for what is some pretty good amateur hardcore stuff.

As far as selling non-exclusive rights/licenses, what is the best way to do that? I don't really want to use a reseller and give away 50%.

How do I bring this stuff to the content market without investing lots of time?

sigh.

Hey, AmSugar, there is reason, why resellers cuts 50% of your profit(for example). It's not so easy to sell the videos. Their time must be paid for too(like for yours).
You can contact some paysites directly, send them some samples, or even easier, upload samples somewhere & post into other section of this board(Fucking arround...), where many paysite owners are. But the easiest & least time taking should be to sell exclusive rights to any content provider(also can find them in Fucking arround... section).

Hi.

I didn't mean to imply that content brokers don't earn their money. I am just a cheap bastard who doesn't want to share.

I would love to sell exclusive rights to a content provider. So far the only offer I got was for $55/shoot. I'm a newbie, but even I know that's the crackhead rate.

I'm gonna start some AVS sites...worst-case scenario is that I will get traffic into my video store. At least that's the plan.
