The advertising. Tumblr is fine with you posting as much porn as you like, just so long as you don't appear to be making any money off it.

Their ban hammer is quick and brutal, and there are plenty of weasel webmasters out there who'll report your blog in a heartbeat. Proof of that can be seen with the sudden death of the blog posted above...mere hours after appearing on GFY. :Oh crap
