Anyone paid by GFKings / MediaRevenue lately?
 

Been trying to get a hold of Mr. Winston Lanes regarding my unpaid balance, but a little worried about the general lack of communication.

Has anyone been paid by GF Kings / Media Revenue?

P.S. Please don't link the post about how GF Kings are scam artists as a response here because I've read it. Plus while that talk was circulating, I received a payment from them, so I would like to give them benefit of the doubt at this point, but I believe there's a new point of contact (no longer Liz and not sure if it's Winston)

If you have been paid by them before and had an unpaid balance of $100+ when you find out that there MIGHT be problems even though your own experience is good, wouldn't you try to AT LEAST work toward your next payout? Or throw in the towel and say 'oh to hell with it I don't want my $100!' Who's the retard? Hope I don't get paid? Why are you so bitter? Using a message board to express extreme anger towards someone you don't even know... smells like little man syndrome to me. To date, I have collected every single payment that was owed to me. And one of the reasons is because I follow up until I'm paid.

Until now. I hope you get paid. I'd cut my losses and move on.

I get it. But you missed the part where I mention I had earned over $100 unpaid revenue when I found out there could be problems. Frankly, if I had to pull teeth just to get my next payment, I would stop promoting them and find another option. But you have already made an assumption that I've been knowingly "promoting scammers" when I have already made clear that I only saw the warnings AFTER being close to the minimum payout. I'm pretty sure most people would at least attempt to collect their earnings before moving on.

I got payments recently after emailing a few times and getting routed to a payment person they finally said that I was indeed owed money from many months ago and they sent the checks, good luck.

Why do you promote them? There are so many other sponsors who don't scam. Is it so hard to just not promote these shitballs?

I don't actively promote them. Its almost entirely recurring revenue from before the shit hit the fan. I got screwed out of a few grand and then out of nowhere after a few months these Paxum payments started coming in from the recurring. I never wrote or complained about nonpayment either... they just started paying again. Fuck if I know whats going on.

I had a situation like this couple of years ago with bumblecash, people were saying they're not paying, but they paid me, so i continued to promote them until they owed me $500 and ...didn't pay

You're right. I got what I deserved; I was paid today. I didn't want to come back to this thread because to be honest, it's disturbing that I made a post simply looking for a point of contact to follow up on unpaid earnings, and had it turn into something else. But I figured at some point in the future someone will run a search for GFK, this thread will show up, and it would be incomplete if I didn't mention that I was ultimately paid.

I stated it once and I'll state it again, I've collected every payment so far because I always follow up as needed. Towards that purpose, I created a thread on GFY, knowing that a lot of affiliate reps read this board among many others.

In the meantime, I have done enough research on this board to conclude that it would not be in my best interest to continue promoting GFK. Even though I have collected every dollar that I had earned with them, I do not want to deal with a sponsor that requires follow up on my part each time a payment is due.

GFkings shows $105 outstanding, I'm trying to contact Tam, I know she used to run things there. Not sure if shes still there

At times it seems MR makes these threads themselves for self promotion.

Few things are more attractive to perspective affiliates than seeing other tripping over their own dicks to promote something at any cost. Most should know better at this point in the game.

I sent an email on 08/17/2013 I checked the minimum before I requested my $105 and the Min. is was set at $100

I got a response today from Renata saying the minimum was changed to $150 almost a year back and several emails went out.

I guess within a year they NEVER updated the admin section, cuz conveniently it is NOW changed from $100 to $150

Im sure AVN will look into this give em five or ten years to a complete a thorough investigation
