What's going on with the forum posts all over the place
In each thread, the post count is the same, 1 to 50 page after page, so on page 2 the first post is #1, page 3 the first post is #1.
I just replied in a thread with a quote in this thread [It's time for the US to go metric], and instead of my reply being post #63 it is at #37. I replied not long after baddog, see image below, his reply is on page 2 with a post count #12. My reply not long after him, the forum has me on page 1 at post count #37? http://i46.tinypic.com/2d1s5j5.jpg ----- http://i46.tinypic.com/2w1ysmo.jpg Why is the forum doing this? It is making it hard to follow a conversation. |
and let me take the moment to rant a little: some of us are members for years, thousands of post yet we have to wait 90 seconds between forum actions. I login, click on redirect and have to wait 90s before clicking on "new posts". I understand if this was in place for new members to prevent abuse or to stop robots to autopost but this sucks doesnt it? Or I click on new posts and see nothing new and try do do a search..nope,wait 90 seconds.. mistype a word on search or the word doesn't return what you need? wait 90s!
it kinda sucks, how to avoid this? |

To add to the glitches, i noticed a thread recently (couple days ago) that said it had a recent post of 7:52pm that day but its last reply was the day before that at like 7:20pm
Actually now that i read your post more carefully, i wonder if the post was somewhere else in the thread. haha |
