WordPress & Thesis - Customization of Category Pages
 

Good morning GFY,

Maybe somebody can help. I have already used the oh-so-mighty Google to search for some leads, but have had no luck. Notwithstanding, you can still post a LMGTFY link, it makes me laugh every time.

The current setup is WordPress 3.5 running Thesis 1.8.5.

How can the layout and look of category pages be modified? Maybe one of you can point me in the right direction.

Instead of showing a teaser-style layout on category pages, I am looking to display thumbnails only for some categories, in a gird layout. For some of the other categories I need to simply clean-up the layout.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have looked at creating custom page templates, but these only seem to apply to pages, not category pages.

It would also be great to know who uses Thesis here.
