Isnt it a little strange they offer services for money?
I mean if you know SEO take any niche you can promote
and voila, why worry about clients?

some people do that....

there is a differance between getting ranks / traffic and converting it

some people are good at getting traffic but cant convert it worth shit

converting traffic is an art on its own

People who do real SEO work do own their own sites. If you have the ability to SEO your own sites successfully, you can open up new revenue streams by doing SEO work for others and your own sites become proof of concept...

Because ranking sites is one thing. Finding products to sell, producing and updating content, moderating comments, managing forums, keeping track of sales, keeping track of different affiliate programs etc is another.

Why does a hosting company sell hosting instead of hosting their own sites in every niche? :)

or if someone is good at designing websites, why do it for other people, why not just make their sites look better then the rest

I'm not in the business that some of my clients are in, and not interested in starting a business doing what they do... but I'll gladly build & optimize their website and do a linking campaign for them.
