I've killed zero people in the last 2.5 years. Something must be wrong!
 

Starting 2.5 years ago, I became a gun owner. I have purchased thousands of rounds of ammo, increased my gun collection, and even carry concealed. But I still haven't killed anyone. Something must be wrong! All these anti-gun types keep insisting that guns have no purpose other than murder, so I MUST be doing something wrong! There are even people I greatly dislike who are still breathing air. Maybe I just purchased the wrong guns? Mine aren't taking anyone out for me. Should I return them for a refund or exchange them for other guns who take their murderous job more seriously?

Yeah sounds fishy, usually it's the inanimate object's fault in gun crimes. This is astounding, you are saying that gun crimes perpetrated are actually the fault of the person using them and that's the real issue?

I guess that must be the case. Or I just bought the wrong guns. I've been really angry at times, even as a gun owner, and mine don't go to war for me against those who annoy me. The just lay there, right where I left them. It's so weird.

I hope you have taken some additional training classes if you are carrying and have been a gun owner for less than 3 years.

If not, you should look into it. There are a lot of classes around here that focus on shooting under extreme stress, proper form when shooting, etc etc...

i wouldn't be surprised if you thought about using those guns on someone though, or possibly even threatened someone with the fact that you own them.

I haven't seriously thought about using guns on anyone. Have I made a few comments to friends in jest, about someone who should be taken out? Yeah, I have. Would I ever actually do it? No. I've never pointed one at anybody.

When a group of half a dozen punks circled my car - while I was in it - at the mall, talking to each other about how they should "fuck it up," I rolled down my window and said, "That would be a bad idea. I have a 40 cal and a 9mm in here with your name on it." They instantly took off, and I didn't have to display either gun. In this country, if someone SAYS they have a gun on them, they likely do.

What would you have done if they didn't take off ? Or if they came back ?

Lets say they sprayed teargas / pepper spray into your car, would you take the guns with you out of the car or leave them in the car ?

What would you do standing in front of 6 guys who you just threatened with a gun ?

I think you where never in any real danger and it was just a bunch of kids, you created a dangerous situation because you are all cool and entitled to carry guns.

If the situation was ever dangerous for you, just think what happens next time you meet your buddies :winkwink:

I don't know why I liked watching that. It was definitely different. Maybe after shooting porn and seeing so much of it, I was bored? I don't know for sure.

Honestly, I actually started seeing a psychiatrist years ago to try to figure things out. I've always had a fascination with all things psychological anyway, so I wanted to learn more about myself from the perspective of a professional. Others had placed all sorts of labels on me, and I wanted to find out if they were true. Unfortunately, I'm far more boring, psychologically, than I've been accused of... turns out I'm not a sociopath. How disappointing. :(

At the time you mention, however, it was fun to watch... kinda like watching a porn video, but with the girl in the picture being someone you actually cared about. I found that extreme jealousy and being really "turned on" are closely related, and a person can flip the switch to whichever of those two things he/she feels like experiencing. I chose the latter, most of the time. And, no, I didn't masturbate while watching it happen.

Now the thought of it turns my stomach. Negative reinforcement will do that.

What type of stuff am I into now? Nothing. I really look at women differently now than ever before. I find most of them beautiful and fascinating, enjoy their conversation and value their opinions, and want to date NONE of them. I'm comfortable just being who I am, working in the business in which I work, talking to people who ask for help, sharing with people who invite me to do so, and homeschooling those I homeschool. All of those things lead to a pretty full life.

As for the complaints... those who spend time actually getting to know the person you quoted end up realizing how full of crap that individual happens to be. That was common consensus then, and still is now. If the things he wrote and said about me were true, I'd either be locked up somewhere in a straight jacket or would be some sort of serial killer, endlessly pursued by law enforcement. And while that sounds fascinating, it's simply not the case. Sorry to disappoint.
