Of those I own, this is my favorite gun.

Springfield Armory XD-40 Tactical. I keep it within reach when at home.

For concealed carry, my Glock 26 (9mm) fits into my front pocket quite easily. But it's not nearly as nice as this Springfield.

He also said, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Look it up. Matthew 10:34.

Because I am a Christian, I should let someone in my house be raped and murdered? Really?

Jesus said sword. Now unlike the foundering fathers he was god. So he knew the future and he only wanted you to have a sword not a gun. Time to sell all those guns for some swords.

How is it hypocritical? By selective use of scripture?

You obviously know little of Christianity if you think rape or breaking and entering is God's will. :2 cents:

God doesn't take away our free will. But I don't imagine you really are aiming for a theological discussion.

Could it be that there were no guns available at the time?

It is 55 outside and I have the front and back door open. The hell with worrying about someone coming in the house and needing a gun. Lived like this 35 years and just had to deal with a raccoon once and maybe a fucking cat lol. Keeping a gun within reach though? Do you peek out your windows when you hear a noise too?

My 14 year old cousin and her friend were just out riding around the neighborhood on their bikes. Some creepy looking dude kept following them around in his car, giving them a really creepy smile every time he passed. Suppose he followed them home and decides to come in after them. Do you think he'll leave if I say, "Hey, I've lived without a gun in my house for 35 years! I shouldn't need one now! You need to go!" ??

Because hip and back weren't comfortable, but in my right front pocket it is.

Wait you were ok with the foundering father were men of science so they knew how guns would evolve and how advanced they would be. But the men, who the one true god spoke to. Didnt know anything about the future. Also if you see the new testament as the words of Christ, he was god so he would know all, hence he meant swords.

No, Tony. I'm sure you're just being a troll, but Jesus was fully man and fully God. He was a man walking the earth. He didn't see into the future. And even if He could have at the time, He still would have said 'sword,' as His audience would not have comprehended something that did not yet exist.

CyberHustler 12-30-2012 04:23 PM

Religion + Guns = never good. Im more afraid of the guy who carries cause God said you can than the guy outside protecting his drug turf.

Im not a troll Donny and Ive always been nice to you. You are assuming alot for a God. To me he would be more all knowing than the foundering fathers.

I'm not making assumptions. This is not something I pulled out of my butt. It's the theological teaching of tradition based on scripture that Jesus was fully man and fully God. The Bible even talks about places in which He couldn't perform miracles. He wasn't all knowing while He walked the earth.

I thought he was always all knowing. At the last supper he tells them one of you will betray me and he tells Peter he will deny him three times. Seems pretty all knowing to me. But I like you and dont want to argue with you.

So, let's say "Jesus" was all knowing (He wasn't, but for the sake of argument let's say He was); do you think He was going to spend His three years of preaching explaining evolution, the development of gunpowder and the internal combustion engine?

Back to the topic. I am still a glock man, but I would consider picking one of these up if I could find a good deal. My buddy owns a pawn shop and he brought this to the range. That is a very nice weapon for sure.

SilentKnight 12-30-2012 07:36 PM

What sort of shithole neighbourhood do you live in that necessitates you to carry a concealed weapon and "keep one within reach" at home?

And why do you feel the need to point this out on an adult webmaster forum?

Nothing personal - I just don't get the mentality of people who think like you.

Um if you managed to get that real life example the same night you needed it for a thread then you must be living in a bad apartment complex.
