Has anyone tried selling these?

I hear they are selling like hot cakes but don't know the guy well. Anyone else tried selling them? How are you doing with it?

I forgot to mention the guy said he was selling them to adult traffic. That's why I'm curious.

Rockstar 02-19-2003 12:55 AM

Do they have an affilate program or what?

Shaggy 02-19-2003 12:58 AM

No, he's just buying them wholesale and sending them out in envelopes. He says they sell better than penis pills. hmm....maybe I'll give it a try.

Rockstar 02-19-2003 01:04 AM

He's not selling them he's bought lists from TGPs and spamming the shit with email to adult webmasters mostly..I got 38 different pcs of his shit spam in one domain email alone the last few days..

Shaggy 02-19-2003 01:13 AM

Not really any info to share. I know it works. I bought one a month ago to see if it would work before I considered selling them.

It's great. lol :1orglaugh

To AT&T I say :321GFY

We have AT&T Digital cable, and with the receiver box you don't get the scrambled channel (just a black screen with a message saying you've got to order it).

I always thought you needed to get the scrambled channel to begin with to use a descrambler. But I can't get the scrambled channel by bypassing the box b/c my TV doesn't go into the 800 channel numbers.

So would something like this work for me anyway? $40 seems a little too good to be true.

MetaMan 02-19-2003 02:26 AM

man u can make ur own dam descrambler

Alky 02-19-2003 02:36 AM

its a scam. digital cable cannot be descrambled.

LiveDose 02-19-2003 02:41 AM

I would be nervous ordering that on my Road Runner connection...:(

Why not?

Everything is hackable.

Danielle 02-19-2003 03:27 AM

We have had several idiots try these in our area. Well, the cable company does line tests and can see a ohm??? I think that is it, change when these items are used.

They then sue the person for like $100,000.00 And every time settle out of court for a few thousand dollars and make the theft subscribe to FULL cable for at least 2 years.

Had 1 guy try to fight them... He is in jail now for felony theft.

So buyer beware... Or is that buyer get sued. :)

Hugs,
Danielle

I use a "piracy card" and one "manipulated original" card
to see payperview and all the other shit.
All digital - so yes you can descramble digital shit.

I live in sweden by the way, maybe a totally different system ?!

And do you know what ?????
IT'S LEGAL - LOL
It not legal to sell the stuff but it's legal to buy and view :-))

You don't go to jail when you lose a suit for money. So they pressed charges on him, proved there was something hooked up, proved he is the one that put it there, and he fought criminal charges and lost? All after he wouldn't pay? Oh wait you said he fought paying it which would mean he either won or lost that suit before hand. Which was it?

It's not a descrambler, it's a filter. Your TV programming is over 50 mhz, your billing info is under 50 mhz. So it stops anything under 50 mhz. Seems simple to me.

I don't beleive that for a second. Sounds like ATT is making up stories to try to scare people.

How could they sue for damages when they don't know what your watching? People could really be using these just to get better reception and never use the ppv and are seen the same in the cable companies eyes.

b.s.

stocktrader23,

I'm not a lawyer so heck if I know.

Shaggy,

Try telling that to the people that get hit by the cable companies. Personally I could careless if you believe it or not.

Danielle

anyone have one of these, I'm interested in getting one if they really work...

Toker 02-20-2003 12:40 AM

The Pay Channels in the USA are all in HD now and on channels 400 to 900 and nothing is scrambled but you need the converter to get them..The old ones had a filter you needed except for HBO and they put a block on that in your box...It's a waste!!!!
