How much will it cost to design?

You're going to have to get someone to mentor you a bit, it's not just about putting up a site... you could pay any half assed designer to put up a site, you need to develop a business plan and a short term and long term goal idea. You can do it cheap or you can do it full on, this business allows you the freedom of getting way more than you ever put into it.

he's right. put the 30,000 in the bank. if you are serious about this it does not take anywhere near that to start up a site.
If you're really attractive you will have no trouble finding photographers to shoot you (TFP) and you get to keep the photos for your website. Nice designed site - $1500, $2,000 if u want something really sweet. Hosting - $30/month.

I have a affiliate program ready to launch with a variety of sites, maybe we can work something out. Either way, I agree with Mutt, put away the 30 grand ... if you have the looks as you ay you do, you won't be needing it.

I went a year ago to a guy in New York that had an add that he pays for photo shoots, when I arrived he showed me sample sites (Don't remember names) and explained that ANAL is what people pay for and I said not interested then, so he asked me how about a dildo up there like it would make a difference

Some weird advice here.

First, yes photographers will photograph you for free, but they will also use the pictures for their own benefit - something you do NOT want.

I wouldn't recommend partnering with any of the other sites either that have other girls. Do it yourself; own the site yourself. It's not difficult to do. I ran my own site for three years with the help of one person.

Financially, yes you COULD get by for real cheap, but I'd suggest somewhere in the neighborhood of $7500. 2 to 3 thousand to build the site, a thousand for camera/video cameras, start at about a thousand for hosting, and the rest for advertising (30 for hosting gets you a starter site, but the goal is to quickly build your traffic). :)

Don't do anything you don't wanna do just cuz somebody told you that you will make more money. You don't have to do anal to be a successful web girl.

Work with some good photographers, i'm sure there are many in NYC who would work on a barter basis with you. You model for free, you get to keep pix for your website. Even some photographers who will pay you for modelling will allow you to use the photos on your personal site.

i'm not interested in how much money you made but telling a girl who has never had a website in her life, who will be getting her feet wet that she needs $1,000 for hosting is not right. And she hasn't mentioned a thing about a live cam or whether she wants to own her own camera equipment. You're just putting the cart way too far in front of the horse. I assume being an amateur that she can get a jump in traffic quicker than most but she will have to walk before she runs.
