Something to think on for people who do not have cancer victims in their family.
Every year government funds AIDS victims and less and less is sought for cancer. yet AIDS funding increases. breast cancer gets a stamp and less funding, woopty fuck. As we know, in MOST cases exceot for children AIDS is the persons fault who gets it. AIDS is contacted. Cancer is not. There are children born with cancer everyday. I have a problem with breast cancer in my family, and have seen some lives ripped apart by cancer meanwhile AIDS victims crawl off the street and get treated, women die before they are 30 from a disease they had nothing to do with, while 20 year old junkies with AIDs get rewarded. Breast Cancer takes the lives of women more than most think. meanwhile junkies get taken care of. Good cause, glad to see others involved. awesome. |
Fletch, everything you said is true - though AIDS is a crisis in some countries of the world, which is why so much funding and attention goes towards it. Millions of people have it not just by concentual intercourse by rape, and then their children getting it because they don't have money for an abortion... The money for AIDS is also for educating people on STD preventitives such as promoting the use of condoms.. Cancer is a big problem as well, my father had it and is still dealing with complications 12 years later... Both affect a lot of people though for us, Cancer is closer to home than AIDS for most..
Cheers, Matt |
