Trading FOREX part time since 2005...

This year so far around 10%... Last year with XAUUSD I finished 20% up...

Forex sure is interesting with the razor thin spread and 24hr markets
I just don't know anything about predicting any of it
I've always thought it'd be interesting to be able to trade outside of pairs

It's not about predicting, because you cannot predict the future. That would be like the CASINO...

It's about having a plan and sticking to the rules of your strategy, with good MM and growing your account slowly to increase your gains every year.

10% a year on forex is wasting the time...

I would love to find a way to trade without big commissions.. looks like some internet brokerages give free initial trades, but, this one options house does some $.005 surcharge on sub $2 stocks

What I would like to do is sit there buying and selling pennies for kicks. Kind of like some idiots play the lottery, you know? It'd be fun

But I don't want to burn hundreds or thousands and at $5+ per trade I'd be spending a lot more than I could possibly make (and I know I will probably just lose on pennies anyway so it'd be good to keep costs down)

I just think buying and selling stock would be fun. Not $5 a trade worth of fun though.. heh

I used to used choicetrade.com when I was trading pennies because you could get $3 trades on them. Looks like they charge $5 like everyone else now days.
