How To Recover Money From Pay Pal Scammer?

I signed up for this stock market trading community using Pay Pal. I didn't like the format of the guys site and I didn't feel I could make money using his system. I was a paid member for less then 1 day. I asked for my $200 back for the monthly subscription and he said no. He froze my account so I can't login and now I'm out $200.

I filed a complaint with Pay Pal. Since it's not a tangible item I'm afraid they wont be able to do anything. I'm figuring since the guy is dealing with stock market picks I could go to the FTC and file a complaint since he basically stole my money because I pissed him off.

I funded my Pay Pal account transaction with my checking account. I would assume that my money is covered by my bank as well?

If the guy knew how to pick stocks he wouldn't need your $200

Yeah, you can charge back at your bank but that will piss off Paypal. I'm surprised Paypal doesn't let you reverse the transaction. You should state as services/goods not delivered. It's a service he provides.

By the way $200 sounds like a lot of money, why didn't you do research first?

the easy way to do it if paypal does not want to refund you is to contact a
banking ombudsman ...

im not sure what sites you have in US or other but here in AU we have them ...just fill in a form online and paypal will have to work with you to fix your problem ...

i have done it .... works very quick and i got my money back

what brassmonkey said.

or hire someone from fiver to send him 5 bucks while stating message in paypal like "real girlfriend porn" or something very nasty you can think of this will trigger alarm.

One of my favorite trader is with that company. I just don't like the main trader who owns the web sites style. I didn't know his style till after I signed up.
