Is SEO Moz worth the membership

I follow them on FB and they pump out a lot of good stuff.

Has anyone ever split the monthly membership with a buddy?

DamianJ 12-13-2012 11:18 AM

If you can't afford the monthly fee, or don't think you'll make it back with the advice you get, then I'd give up now really. It's not expensive.

I don't think it's if he can or not afford it, I think he is asking a simple question, and that would be if they are legit and give what they offer. *shrugs*

cybermike 12-13-2012 11:25 AM

I visited the site once somehow and now every website I go to I get their damn ads!

baggg 12-13-2012 11:41 AM

The have a lot of "guru" bullshit, but you can find some good info,i use them for the tools mostly. This link gives you 3 months free membership

NoWhErE 12-13-2012 11:43 AM

Their tools and help forums are worth the price. I use them all the time. I think there is also a trial membership (it could be gone now) that can help you decide if you want to become a full member or not.

DraX 12-13-2012 11:50 AM

If you have used or are using seomoz, give it a rating and a small comment, good or bad, it would help alot of people.

As he was asking if anyone had split the low monthly fee with a buddy I assumed the cost was an point of concern.

In everything I do cost is a concern. How can you operate a business if cost is never a concern? It's a 100% biz write off.

Can I afford the $100 a month? YES, without question but I don't want to spend money where there is no VALUE. The splitting of membership reduces my COST by 50% so yes, I would love to save $600 a year wouldn't you? :thumbsup

isn't "splitting a membership" kinda shady? not that I care, but seems odd that on a board where there are 5 threads per day about ethics of piracy, someone would be suggesting "splitting a membership".. :1orglaugh

I've tried SEOMoz but I prefer majesticseo.com and it's cheaper.

Not if it involved cheating a company, no.

I pay for wordtracker and find it pays for itself easily.

Exactly. :thumbsup

The point is: ok, someone joins SEO moz or any of those..

But then what?

If people dont know what to do with the tool, it will be useless...

Going directly to the point, how does a Webmaster BENEFIT from joining them?

Someone join, and then what? How does someone use that tool to improve their sites and make sales?

Yeah yeah, they offer keywords and such and SEO info.. but whats different than grabbing any of the free tools available already?

If you buy domains from namecheap, log in to your account, then select more, then Namecheap deals. There is a link for SEOmoz.
4 Months SEOmoz PRO Free Trial, is available to all Namecheap accounts that have spent at least $150 with Namecheap
3 Months SEOmoz PRO Free Trial, is available to all Namecheap accounts that have spent $100 with Namecheap
2 Months SEOmoz PRO Free Trial, is available to all Namecheap accounts that have spent at least $50 with Namecheap

On the flip side of the coin, it's ok for users to share passwords to some of your sponsors with a buddy, so you only get one sale?

trustedrevenue 12-13-2012 07:23 PM

FreeHugeMovies 12-14-2012 08:45 AM
