"'Pawn Stars' ex-agents suing for $5 million day after 'Storage Wars' star files suit

NEW YORK ? It?s been a bad week for A&E.

First, Dave Hester sued the network, claiming ?Storage Wars? was staged. Now the network?s History Channel division has its own lawsuit brewing over its hit show ?Pawn Stars.?

A talent agency has filed a lawsuit against The History Channel, TMZ reported, claiming they signed on to represent the cast of ?Pawn Stars? back in 2007 and 2009 and were terminated after the show hit the air.

The agency, Venture IAB, claims they were representing Corey Harrison, Rick Harrison, Richard Harrison and Austin ?Chumlee? Russell before the stars made it big. The agency alleges six months after the show hit the air, two ?Pawn Star? executives convinced the cast to end their deal with Venture.

According to court documents, posted on The Hollywood Reporter's website, History Channel Vice President Mary Donahue and General Manager Nancy Dubuc "intentionally interfered with the Agency Agreements by inducing the Harrisons, Golden State Pawn Stars, and Russell to terminate the [Venture IAB] agreement."

This resulted in the loss of millions of dollars in income, the talent agency claims.

Venture IAB is suing The History Channel for more than $5 million in damages.

The History Channel did not immediately return FOX 411?s request for comment."

Just someone out to make money off of people, getting upset and suing because! Some other people wanted to make more money, off of people it made more money off, by not having the talent people make money of them people.

Yeah, the people in all of these 'real' shows about 'real' people in 'real' establishments always tend to act like convenient TV characters.

I had read that Chum Lee was making bank off of a t-shirt line featuring his face. He was doing well enough with it that the Harrisons offered him a very large amount to buy him out.

why doesn't Chumlee wash his hair, it is gross, fucking foul even. I love Chumlee he's one of the best on the show, but not washing your hair for months at a time is just nasty. Esspecially when someone should be doing it for him now anyway, just no excuse, not even him being lazy.

The show is fake.

Almost all if not all reality shows are, which is why it's funny they're even called reality shows.

ive been to the pawn shop in vegas, its nothing but stuff from the tv show, none of the stuff that is shown on tv, the rings, etc, nothing is there, not even any of the harrisons.

Why do so many people thing reality shows are real?
Do people really think a lighting crew, camera crew, sound man, make up, food truck, and a director are going to sit around in a pawn shop waiting for something cool to come in?

I like Pawn Stars, even if it's fake. I can't watch Storage Wars, that is just boring. They would have to plant some good stuff just to keep the show interesting. If all they did was buy a storage unit and find nothing of value or interest people wouldn't watch. I bet storage auctions are packed with people now looking to score some good shit.
