Mobile Phone Swipe Technology "Square" --> hacked

The pcmag.com article does say that the square credit card reader was hacked. It is not completely secure. Hmm... New version of square device is being made. There is an issue with credit cards being secure or not. I mean that people can give out paper dollar bills or barter products. However, these computer systems make everything very complicated. Having electronic accounts would probably mean that more people can look at those accounts, although you might not like to think about that. Technologies are pretty advanced right now. They can even make spaceships that fly to other planets and money accounts that exist on other planets.Send me an email: [email protected] -
Had this discussion with my lead geek
, for a project that requires data to be protected. Even with the aggressive steps we are taking, it is damn near impossible to be 100% secure.

This is still a concern for Square. In the meantime, you can setup ours here is 2 minutes and we charge less than Square or Quicken or Paypal.

went to japan recently and got in to a taxi which let me pay the fair with a contactless payment u to $20 by just swiping my mobile phone over the pad. max $20 but very nice user experience as it was so easy and free - also helps that in JP everyone has not just one but two contract phones and credit history is very good making widely available!

Hi Ben. Bless Japan for choosing to be roll out technology and be more advanced as consumers by 5-10 years than most other Western countries including the USA. Imagine what they think when they visit the US. It is like stepping back into the Freddie Flintstone Days.went to japan recently and got in to a taxi which let me pay the fair with a contactless payment u to $20 by just swiping my mobile phone over the pad. max $20 but very nice user experience as it was so easy and free - also helps that in JP everyone has not just one but two contract phones and credit history is very good making widely available!
