My first too. Was mad I got it for christmas instead of Atari. Still got it and it still works after all these years.

I remember going over to someone's house when I was very young and I nearly shot my load when I saw that thing in their entertainment cabinet. I wanted to play it so fucking badly but I remember them not letting me and my mom dragging me away...

My "retro" collection minus the PS2 which is on a different shelf. Only stuff you might not recognize easily is the Panasonic 3D0 on the middle row and middle shelf, the Sega Nomad on the top right which is a portable Genesis that goes through 6 AA batteries in about 45 min lol, and the Virtual Boy on the top, this was Nintendos failed attempt at virtual reality gaming haha. Long live old school games! :thumbsup

Guilty. I had one of these myself growing up. Good times.

We had no idea how far this video game / computer thing would go...

This girl i knew from school had an Atari. I remember going to her house to play Plaque Attack.

I may still have my Intellivision. I definitely still have my Atari, NES, and everything after that.

I wanted an Atari but this one seemed more advanced, and I got one for Christmas. LOVED that console. My most favourite game was some kind of submarine game, I forgot the name. Good times!

Best game they ever game. I have a ton of patches from this and other games that you got when you sent in a photo of your highscore.

Intellivision was the best. B 17 Bomber and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons rocked.

We first had the Ricochet gaming console - basically Pong with something like 4 games that were all variations on the same theme. I still have it with the original packaging, and am fairly certain it still works. The funny thing is, the game plugs into an outlet, but also requires something like eight D batteries.

Looks like you're missing a piece for the Virtual Boy. The black mask type thing that shields the light when you look into it. Actually, just sold mine for $75 on Craigslist to some young Asian kid who was building a collection.

I still have a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, modded PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and a Wii. Hardly play any of them. Just collecting dust like my Virtual Boy was. Hell, only game I have for PS3 is Gran Turismo 5. Mainly use it for blurays and 3d blurays.

The first system I ever had was Nintendo NES. It was pretty epic.. playing contra, and super mario ;)

I was more of an Atari 2600 man myself.
