I bought a non-adult product online and when I received it in the mail, the company name (did not know at the time) had 'whore' in it and that was plastered all over the package.

Product is great however I'd never ever ever purchase from them again.

I used to get the normal black package with my full name and BLACKVAGINAFINDER.COM blasting on the label!. Thank God someone from gfy saw my complaint and fixed it....Now I gotta hit the po box tomorrow.

A few years back I had a PO Box in one of those mailboxes places in south Florida, it was owned by a Pakistani couple. After a few weeks of receiving checks in envelopes bearing various porn programs names, they told me to go find a mailbox somewhere else as it was against their religion to "facilitate filth business"

That was in the days of TGP's when I was promoting a ton of sponsors, so it was a pain to have to update account info and worrying that a check might be lost if it was not forwarded properly. (At that time in Florida, the postal services did not forward mail from a mailbox places)...

I am not ashamed to work in porn, but we do live in a society where there still a lot of people who do not like us a bit and the last thing you need is an idiot playing avenger against you...

Maybe. I was speaking about neighbours finding out. If I had a neighbour who saw ADULT EXPO or similar mail to me and who had anything negative to say about it, I'd just feel sorry for them.

As for my kids seeing it, well, its not like they wouldn't have already been exposed to it from TV and on their cellphones. I'd do my best to (a) educate my kids, (b) let them know its not for them, (c) not to be ashamed or afraid to ask questions about anything, ever.

totally fucking pissed me off when i would receive domain renewal letters through the post with my domains as part of my address.

complained so many times. It wasn't even the registrars sending the emails, some company hoping to get the renewal. fuck they pissed me off.

I had the same problem and had to cancel my AVN subscription. The last straw was when I was getting the Gay AVN material.

For the record... we don't hide that we're an adult business. Would just be nice to not get it blasted all over the place for everyone to see. Not to mention those that get their mail delivered at home where their families are.
