AOL finally totally fucked up ICQ
 

Sometimes my ISP can be a major pain in the ass with chat software. However from talking to people and reading boards I'm not the only one who's had big ICQ problems for a week or more now. It was the case that if ICQ was being shitty I could use ICQ via trillian. Even that's struggling though.

Has AOL finally totaly fucked up ICQ? If so what will the replacement be? Many in this business seem only to run ICQ which makes it difficult getting hold of anyone when this crap is going on.

... been switching more and more contacts to msn messager, beside the fact that msn has no hstory feature I am pretty much happy with it.

Try trillian. Not only do you get all the clients in one (when ICQ wants to work) but you also get history for them all including MSN :)

I thought trillian was majical at first too .. just another POS!

its keeps spitting out my logs .. which I live by .. fucked up my last two weeks like you can't imagine ..

fuck it all nothing works properly .

Trillian Pro keeps great logs, maybe you have it configured wrong.

I use Proteus. Great program. Multiple accounts, multiple services, takes care of my logs and stuff. Can't complain at all. Didn't even know ICQ was having trouble.

I've been using Trillian for about 3 days now since my ICQ crapped out. It has been awesome!
