I know people don't have taste... but it's affecting me personally now.

Just found out that the best pizza place in the whole fucking city & beyond went out of business. I even dare to say it was probably the best in the whole country. The pizza's were perfect, but people don't have taste and just order from random mediocre pizza places... I bet if everyone knew how good those pizzas were, the place would never go out of business.
I was craving one of those pizzas, now I have to accept a lesser quality pizza and I have trouble with that. I'm not sure what i'll be eating now... my brain was counting on that perfect pizza, anything else is just not cutting it right now. :disgust

christ, they spoiled me. Now I have to pay the same or more at other places for way less... and I won't be tasting those heavenly pizzas anymore... im mourning now.

Buy them and their recipe and work it if you are that confident :2 cents: Approach them, see what they have to say? It doesn't hurt.

keysync 12-08-2012 11:15 AM

Learn to make them yourself maybe?

Yes, because pizza-ovens fit on most apartments. Especially it's a real one with fire and not an electric one.

Hate it when a favorite eatery goes outta business.

Our fave chinese buffet restaurant went tits-up unexpectedly a while back. The place was awesome - massive selection of everything you can think of...always fresh.

Dunno what happened - the place was always packed.

I will not take you and your taste serious if you say that it was a Domino-pizza they closed...:)

bronco67 12-08-2012 11:28 AM

You're right about some people not knowing good pizza. There's a place a block away from me, that I ate at one time about 10 years ago. Never again.

But when I walk by, there's always people inside scarfing down that cardboard.

BIGTYMER 12-08-2012 11:35 AM

Heartbreaking story.. :(

just had a pizza of another place nearby and i must say, not as perfect ofcourse but not bad at all... pleasant surprise.

You have some of greatest pizza places down your way - one being in Niagara Falls, NY - LaHacienda.

I miss a good pizza

Same thing happened in our neighborhood about a month or two ago, awesome pizza place, decent prices the they sold it to a new owner, the place went to shit, quickly and are now closed... Such a shame :/

seeandsee 12-09-2012 03:23 PM

I also have 1 place with best pizza, and i think they will not close shop soon!

mineistaken 12-09-2012 03:32 PM

Are you talking about quality of ingredients they use or merely just about the recipe? If its the recipe then people like different things... If its quality of ingredients then I agree, for most people pizzas taste pretty much the same everywhere (speaking about similar price range and so on)

pornmasta 12-09-2012 03:46 PM

bread paste (diy) + tomato + ham + mozarella or Parmigiano-Reggiano (get the real stuff)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parmigiano-Reggiano

it's pretty easy to do but you need time
