try these:

tar -xvzf {filename}
tar -xvjf {filename}
tar -xvf {filename}

What is that? And where can i get that :(:helpme

Umm this is linux right? It should be native.

If not, move it to a linux box and try those commands

edit: Make a new dir, put it there, and THEN try those commands
