Same here, we suffered for too long. Good things come to those who wait.

Wait, so what you're saying is that the rest of the teams in the division have to play like shit for the Redskins to look good?

The Giants are currently the only team in the division with a winning record. Talk to me when all of the teams are above .500 and the 'Skins are on top.

No, I'm saying our time has come.

Ahahahaahahaa

great thread.

Let's see how he does against Baltimore next week. I don't have the line yet but I'm pretty sure it'll be fairly even.

Didn't we hear that from Rex Grossman last year? :2 cents: "Redskins will win the NFC East." That's what he said. How'd that work out for them?

National Football Conference
NFC East W L T
N.Y. Giants 9 7 0
Philadelphia 8 8 0
Dallas 8 8 0
Washington 5 11 0

Comparing RG3 to Rex Grossman, yeah sounds like you know what you're talking about. :)

Btw, nobody said that.

No, I was comparing you saying "it's our time" to Rex Grossman saying the Redskins were going to win the NFC East last year.

And yes, he did say that:

Quote:

?We?re fine being the sleepers right now,? Grossman said, before doing his best to wake everyone up to the Redskins. Or to provide comic relief to the rest of the league.

?We?re just waiting in the wings ready to take over the NFC East. Nobody?s talking about us, it?s right where we wanna be. You look at us from top to bottom out here, there?s a bunch of great players. And we don?t need people saying we?re the best right now. But when it?s all said and done, I really feel like this team?s gonna win the [NFC] East.?

Who gives a fuck what Grossman says. He's a bum. The NFC East is trembling right now at the thought of having to face RG3 twice a year.

To be honest, my team is not trembling at the thought of having to face RG3 twice a year, but at the fact that they have to suit up for 4 more games...

Supz 12-04-2012 10:47 AM

If I am not mistaken, the Giants still have the better record and have won 2 superbowls in the last 5 years. Win a superbowl within this decade. Then you have the right to speak.

If Grossman promised anyone the NFC East title last year he was obviously high on cough medicine

or paint fumes.

Watch yourself LeRoy...

If you noticed, it was the Eagles fan vs the Redskins fan, until the Giants fan ran his mouth. Then it became the Redskins and the Eagles fans vs the Giants fan. I'm pretty confident that now that you've chimed in, it will be Eagles/Redskins/Giants fans vs the Cowboys fan.

I'm sorry, but why didn't you bump this thread? Run out of shit to talk?

Oh, that's right -- it's because like every year since 1992, the Redskins are watching the Super Bowl at home on the couch. In the same timeframe, the Giants have been to three Super Bowls and won two of them. Also, they captured the NFC East something like 5 times.

Looking forward to more fail threads next year as RG3 gets you all hot and bothered, then lets you down like a lesbian prom date.

What more do you expect from a rookie QB? And an injured one at that... Not to mention all the other starting rookies they ran this year...

Check post dates. RG3 wasn't injured when I said that, and my comment was also based on the 'Skins fans posting in this thread acting like he was the second coming of Christ who had miraculously made the Redksins some unstoppable force.

Supz 01-07-2013 03:37 PM

Now we all now how well that worked out for you. Giants won 2 superbowls in 5 years. When was the last time the redskins won? Poor delusional fans. Now you are out in week one, with your franchise players career in limbo. Go redskins hahahah. No seriously. Giants will win again before redskins ever do. Its just how it is.

Shame to see RG3 go out on such a miserable play... :Oh crap

He never fully recovered from this hit:

Lots of talented running QBs coming out of college, but they seem to get injured fast in the NFL.

I hope that the Niners can keep Colin Kaepernick healthy (although always good to have a safe back-up available like Alex Smith - and I totally agree with the QB switch in San Francisco).

Go Niners! :thumbsup

Regardless of the excuse you make, your gums were flapping too early, and now you're stuck with the same result you get every year: not playing in the Super Bowl. You can talk when you win it. Win it twice in recent history, and you'll be on PAR with the Giants. Otherwise, you really have no leg to stand on -- just like RG3.
