serious, those buggers are looters! charging ?69 for customs for a parcel worth ?55 wherein the customs duty is ?14 ... robbery in my book ... no more UPS for me :2 cents:

never use UPS to ship anywhere, you have to be a fucking expert to determine what services they will randomyl add $50 and which they won't. Inside the US, probably fine.

About the same in Canada,and they leave my package on the front lawn too

never ship heavy items most of it is fuel cost. customs is not ups :1orglaugh

I've had 4 parcels from UPS the past 4 days, all from within the same country and they are amazing service.

atleast 3 other times from another country and they are terrible, charging similar to what you are saying.

Sounds like a problem with your Customs and not the UPS.

NO ...the problem is the law AND ups.
ups is ever asking for the tax-fee (my knowledge).

if i am buying in usa, but living (for example) in pt or de, ups "declare" the stuff from usa, and afte a piece of shit has a worth of cow .

German Customs SUCKS - Don't even think about sending porn related. Use FEDEX and be more discrete than you can imagine. And then hope it makes it. Never use UPS or USPS for GMBH. FEDEx is straight up mob. They pay people to look the other way. lol.

GC called one of our customers and said he had 2 options. Come down and pick up the package and get busted or refuse it. How can one of the horniest countries in the world have such fucked up ports of entry?

If you think that's bad, we spent close to $600 to ship 2 boxes with USPS, in Sept for the Amsterdam and Prague shows. Not one of them arrived in time. They were sent Express 3 day service.

They Claim, that once it reaches a designated Country, their job is done! No further tracking is available on a local level.

I mean WTF we had specific addressrs on the parcels, not just the country. They will not listen to anything, no refund , not even an apology:mad:

Same to holland, but even worse as the money is the fucking 3 weeks waiting for the package to clear from customs.

Regular mail is always the best.

UPS sucks monkey balls. They screwed me over as well a few years ago.

Never use UPS for anything cross border... period!
