Yes. He plays his football in France now, and was speaking to reporters after the match. For some reason, he figured speaking like that would make a difference. He didn't mean it to be joking...

I think two tings are greatly missing in this thread.

1. the actual word 'Accent'
2. a "before" video, of how his English accent sounded before moving to France.
