Traffic Cash Gold - Under New (Old) Ownership

Ever since TCG reverted back to the old owners I have noticed I am getting sales again. Same traffic as before only now it gets sales. Hmm!

I believe they still need to fix their back end.

It seems once it was reclaimed, the back end for the affiliate program no longer works.

It's not surprising. There's little accountability in our industry. In most industries once revenues fall they cut employee wages or let people go. In our industry it's tempting to use affiliates as piggy banks using one method or another. Shave 5% here to keep your profits up, six months later shave another 5%, three months later you drop the cookies down to 24 hours, six months after that make some "accidental" leaks so affilaites don't always get credit, another six months down the road you redirect the mobiles to another uncredited program, three months after that you add popunders to products affiliates do not get a cut on. Then as your business tanks more you up the shave another 10-20%. Finally when it all collapses you silently quit paying or post a message on GFY saying "there will be no more payments...The affiliate model is no longer viable...Too much fraud." and you run away with the money while watching the bros come in and defend you as "good people". A year later you re-open to much fanfare from your bro friends who call you "good people" and you post some excuse or another for why it happened last time and how you aren't a crook.. Or some variation of this anyway. :1orglaugh
