How many hosts you use? I have like 15 accounts with diff. hosts. Hawkhost is ok.

Off the top of my head probably have 10 different accounts with shared hosting that I just use for mainstream sites, Blue Host, Host Gator, Exabytes, Stable Host, Site5, now Hawk Host, and a few others. I'm buying up some more now for my own private blog network to link my Adsense sites into...

I have their $2.49/mo starter shared plan and it ends up being $1/mo or even cheaper if you pay for a year at a time. They have bigger plans too and the 60% off for life works on those and reseller hosting also. They also allow adult content but I have a few mainstream blogs there, and it's been solid hosting so far.

BTW has anyone seen a promo from AmeriNOC yet? I got a whole year of shared hosting from them for $12 last year or the year before, but I haven't seen anything at all from them yet this year.

I've posted a few Godaddy coupons on the fb/twitter page, and those will work for one transfer or one new registration. There's a $1.99 coupon and a few $2.95 coupons, and some $5 coupons. Try coupon codes cjc199x1, SMCOM295, LKS295X, gofgd008, GTNG2IN03, SCOTT495, or this link. The way they structure the coupons is you can use one 1.99 coupon, one 2.95 coupon, and one $5 coupon... you can't use all the coupons unfortunately, you'll have to wait for the next batch of coupons in a few weeks to use another one.

I know what you mean about having a shitload of hosting :winkwink: I have a dedicated at SecuredServers for my main sites, plus accounts at HostMantis, RackEngine, HostNine, HawkHost and Exabytes for a blog network and some pumper sites :1orglaugh

For some odd reason Host Nine asked me for a scan of my photo ID before they would approve my account. I've never had that happen before in all the years I have bought shared hosting accounts. Oh well, looks like I'm going with Host Mantis instead and one more. How is Rack Engine?

That's weird, I didn't have to provide ID at HostNine. They're definitely a legit company though, and I know HostGator and others ask for ID sometimes so it's not too unusual.

RackEngine is newer, I got a free account there when they were doing a beta testing deal here on gfy. I host a little forum there and the hosting has been stable for me. They're over on the east coast and I never had problems during the hurricane or anything. Not really any different from other Cpanel hosts I've used, which is good.

Hope someone will come up with better transfers coupon than 7.99$ from name.com.

I'm actually chatting with support right now, it looks like MaxMind flagged my account because I bought so many hosting accounts today. I just had the exact same thing happen at Host Mantis. What a pain in the ass, sometimes you have to beg people to take your money... :(

ah, that explains it. Still sucks though :( I'm pretty sure the feedback from the hosts to MaxMind will clear that up though, let me know how it goes
