generally speaking its okay. but some people just use xrummer exclusively. i have software that does pretty much the same thing except how the data is delivered

Well as someone that runs and has run forums I hate it! You have to setup special registration templates to counter it (which works fairly well) or have your forum linked to a spam database to counter this.
I'm not sure if it's good for self-populating message boards of your own.

It's only good for plugging well established forums in off hours when the mods aren't around. I recall being on 4chan when that place got out of control (holy shit out of control) and they finally had to take measures and ultimately instill a captcha on every post.

I don't mean to sound insulting but you're better off asking these questions with a fake nick.

Bad. As a site owner I ought to be able to easily sue you for the time and resources expended cleaning up your crap.

(1) Neither are "spam" softwares. "Spam" is defined as "unwanted commerical email" (UCE) and neither Xrumer nor Scrapebox sends so much as a single email to anyone.

(2) There are uses for the softwares well outside of blog posting which can help you earn a ton.

(3) Hrefer; a part of Xrumer, is an invaluable tool.

(4) Scrapebox is a wonderful program which if properly used can add to your income in ways that you cannot imagine.

There are idiots out there who just blast away pissing off everyone in sight but I am not one of them

Still, do you lay in bed at night stressing at whether or not you're going to be removed from Google the next day? That's the thing about "natural" SEO (which is arguably no SEO besides good practices Google has spoken about) you can rest easy knowing that your site is still going to be indexed in the morning.

lol, with all the new updates this year this is not the case anymore at all. Good sites get fucked as much as bad sites, and in the end only wiki, youtube, dailymotion and news links are on top. Google fucking sucks.

I guess that's fine if your running a network of sites you don't give a fuck about. But if it's a singular project that you want to have some longevity, then yeah, it's a stupid idea. I mean it's even questionable just how much emphasis Google puts on back links, if they do at all. I had one site that I made sure the code was clean and fast, used the basic good practices, and within 8-12 months it was at the top for all my desired keywords. Not a single back link was created. And there were some pretty big keywords in there (mainstream).

It's called long term business strategy... Ya know people who want to make a consistant long term business out of their sites, not pump and dump shit blogs.

google will not penalize you, you know why? because then competition will ruin their competitors that way, you got it now?

What? Are you saying there's no such thing as negative SEO? But every "SEO expert" on every forum says there is....
