Gorgeous body, too much PS..
I'm a fan of the small flaws that make us all unique not cartoons.

Colmike9 11-19-2012 02:43 PM

I think HDR stands out better when using more color variety than blue/white/brown.

Nice pics, though :winkwink:

venus 11-19-2012 02:44 PM

Yeah, but they can come out really nice.

I just know how to use HDR images for lighting in 3d scenes, though, not much about creating them.. :(

V_RocKs 11-19-2012 02:59 PM

CS6 worth the expense from CS5?

For sure.

_Richard_ 11-19-2012 03:05 PM

first pic is cool, second is painfully hot

normally i hate altered pics, these look kinda, aged, in a way.. like pics from the 80s

Jay-Rock 11-19-2012 03:10 PM

Not enough distance between the highlights and shadows to see the High Dynamic Range. You should try some with the sky in the background where the highlights would normally blow out. This is what HDR is for. No need to use HDR when your shadows and highlights are pretty even. The only time I would use it is for Landscapes and Real Estate photos where you want to see out the windows with the room still exposed. (preserving the highlights)

HDR is cool but not something I would use for porn.

endsofttech 11-19-2012 03:14 PM

nice, but imho its too much retouching. the model looks like a 3d model.

grumpy 11-19-2012 03:27 PM

the ps came with it?

2MuchMark 11-19-2012 03:29 PM

Hot bod, but like everyone else says, too much PS. It kind of makes me wonder what is being hidden, and it makes your body look more plastic.

Mr Pheer 11-19-2012 03:44 PM

Ever catch your neighbors watching you?

Waiter 11-19-2012 07:49 PM

yeah ... sure

I was thinking the same thing.

I only use HDR for landscapes (especially anything with water). I've tinkered a fair bit trying to use it with a model...but they don't look right no matter what. Not to say it can't be done..I just haven't gotten satisfactory results so far.

venus 11-19-2012 09:04 PM

I think its much better then CS5, I have had it since its release

I am guessing some of you have no idea what i said when I posted the imaes, what photoshop ctually is and what was done to the images. Its not "photoshopping" in the sense you guys are trying to think, its playing with HDR.

whats being hidden..really...you really have no what the post was about

Looks more like retouching than HDR. Look up some HDR photos on Flickr. They look crazy!

how old are you now Venus? you've done an amazing job of keeping yourself hot and in shape :thumbsup

Topaz plugin does a nice job of imitating an HDR look.

when you say 'playing around with HDR toning' - are you working on just one image or combining 3 images(three identical images of you with different exposures) and combining them?

venus 11-19-2012 09:32 PM

normally with HDR images, you take several shots at different exposures, , for example take 3 photos, one shot with what ever your light meter says then one stop higher and one stop lower, then you use a program to merge the 3 images, thats where your shadows and highlights come from, then you use HDR tonning to get your desired effect.

there is a way to cheat, which is to take one photo and use tone mapping, which is what I did since I did not have 3 I can merge. Does not come out the same tho.

just one image... I have done three images before, but once you veer of the path of using the presets then you have to have a hell of an eye to get amazing images

Assuming you posted the shots with the idea of getting some constructive feedback, why berate those who have given you some input above?

You're on an industry board where many of us have made a living with our cameras and photoshop for many years. I think some of us know what we're talking about.

Chosen 11-19-2012 10:07 PM

Nice body indeed :thumbsup

madko 11-20-2012 06:40 AM

You look incredible Venus, but those are not HDR .. to me they look like some bad '80 pictures, over retouched.(no hard feelings)

pornguy 11-20-2012 07:42 AM

For the fun you had with the images I think they came out smokin hot. Of course that has a lot to do with the subject matter.

Would not advise more than a single set in the members area this way because is nice but would get annoying if all were done like this.

Nice work and glad to see others messing with things as well.

BradBreakfast 11-20-2012 08:19 AM

Time to upgrade to a SLR...

She was responding to Mark Prince. He owns a cam software company and doesn't have a clue about professional photography.

His reply to her was pretty rude and had nothing to do with what she was asking about.

venus 11-20-2012 01:54 PM

I would not do a whole set like this, I only did a couple and tagged them as such right next to the original image..I dont think I will ever get "that eye" for doing good HDR

FlowerKid 11-20-2012 11:23 PM

Your photos haven't to do anything with HDR if you just used one photo with one exposure time. At minimum you need two two photos with different exposure times, better three or five. On your photos one can see oversaturated regions, on a real HDR there normally shouldn't be any oversaturation or underexpose.
