And these clowns are going to manage healthcare

20% of the US economy will be managed by the same people that have been overseeing the US postal system.. Good luck with that.

Maybe if they charged $18 like FEDEX does to send a letter across the country rather than .45 cents they could not only be profitable but they could pay their CEO's 2 billion a year and people like you wouldn't bitch.

It's also the same people who oversee the military, NASA, the CIA, and so on...
The post office has been vital for decades. Now it needs to be dismantled.
One of the main problems is rural areas. People say just let UPS handle it, but in rural areas UPS uses the post office.
Getting rid of the post office likely means massive spikes in the cost of all packages or mail to rural places.
The likely answer is cutting postal service to two days per week.

Having no postal service also elevates companies like UPS into the 'too big to fail' category and puts them in charge of vital necessary services. A huge mistake in other sectors we should not repeat in this one.

Fedex sends them alot of parcels via their SmartPost division as well .... equivalent to UPS Mail Innovation and also DHL global mail .... between them 3 the Postal Service has plenty .... It would be nice though if someway the USPS was taken "over" by one of the big two

And you made the perfect case for why business people and not bureaucrats should run businesses. As I said, these same people will run healthcare for the masses.
