First page bid for "psychic hotline" is 27 euros per click
 

I understand it's a hot market but seriously, 27 euros for 1 click?

and yet #1 for that on google is psychichotlines,net with barely few backlinks and alexa 22mil?

I just bid on a term that was 70 cents for 1st page. 10 minutes later it's bumped to 2 euros for the 1st page.
Can anybody explain that?

When I was 18 and first started college I used to work the overnight shift at one of those places in Coral Springs, Florida. They gave you a one day class on how to read Tarot cards and then you worked an 8 hour shift giving bullshit readings. I seem to remember too that they ran TV commercials during soap operas and print ads in soap opera magazines, so on the day shift when one ran the phones would blow up. I don't know if soap operas even exist anymore, but if they do and you could buy advertising on one of their discussion websites it would probably be a fucking goldmine...

Apparently online psychics can make a lot of money from what I've heard. They're pissed at EBAY, though, for not allowing psychic services anymore. lol

Anyone that transitioned from phone sex to online will tell you that they had to leave psychic hotline numbers behind for the most part (vs transitioning to websites, live chat online etc) because that demographic wasn't exactly among the first to have computers/internet.

So overnight all my bids stopped working.
Quite obscure terms that i paid 30 cents or something per click for are now 8 euros per click.
This is bullshit.

Look for one of those $100-300 Bing Adcenter promos and try that out instead of G Adsense. Bing has been a lot more profitable for me.

I'm not really sure where to get the big one's. I got a $300 right when it was new and I see a lot of $50-150 offers here and there but for all I know it's random. :upsidedow

I always set my limite a lot higher then the actual CPC cost, that discourages other parties from trying. They see they aren't breaking through and they step down with smaller bids. Everybody wins.

There are some keywords that cost me 2-3$ where I bid 10$. A single day in 2nd place would cost me thousands of dollars in profits so why not.

The price you pay per click has a ton to do with your quality rating, it's exponentially cheaper once you're in the higher rankings.

I forget what now, but I could swear I've seen something show in GKT with over $200 CPC. I frequently come across law/meso/insurance terms that are $100+. Seems insane to me to spend that much at a chance to get 1 customer.

Sure make money, but I do have a problem with preying excessively on simple people.

Making money on psychic readings is like making money off of religion, same principle and it's false.
