Anyone uses Rackspace here?

Hi,
Anyone uses Rackspace here? I plan to use them for a tube project and a video encoding project.

Anyone use them for adult? I called them and apparently they accept adult sites. Anyone here have any experience with them?

Don't think a lot of people use them as their pricing used to be insane, don't know where it stands today but I am pretty sure it can be had much cheaper

In terms of support I heard they are very good

I am going to have a quote on friday, so can't wait to see what their prices looks like now. However, they host big video sites tought, in mainstream. For example, they host: http://www.funnyordie.com

They are very expensive. Best to look elsewhere for adult. Unless your site is pulling in mad money.

I use their cloud servers and things could not be better.

Are they the same people as Rack Shack? Haven't heard anything of them for a good ten years or so.

We used then for the longest time as primary host..
Main reason was there support, one day we had a database replication issue and which they said they wouldn't call in a senior level tech for as it was in the middle of the night or so... I switched host the following week..
I cut out hosting bill in half by moving to National net..

Last month we tried their cloud servers after using the CDN for a while, it has been down for 1+ hour already twice in a month so they are out again :-)

Use Natnet. You will never have to worry about your servers. Ever.
