He's not going to die. If he does, he will get killed only when the whole series is over, it's not like James - they can't continue the show without him :2 cents:

I'm sure Nucky will find the backing he needs. He has that deal he made in the last show still in his back pocket going for him.

I would look at the history of the characters based on the real life versions of people and events for clues. Lansky and Luciano went on to rule the entire country. Capone arrested. Rothstein killed, etc.

A deal with Turio and Capone. They weren't at the meeting, are far away from the conflict and likely have no dealings with mazzerone.
Also possible help off the boat from Ireland. And plenty more liquor supply from Melon's infrastructure.

Historically Lansky was smart enough never to rule anything.. He was always second in command quietly.
If Castro didn't take over Cuba, Lansky may have become one of the wealthiest people who ever lived.

Nucky is gonna give Rothtein more control over certain things in exchange for support (probably that new whiskey destillery) and Al Capone is coming back to the boardwalk to help Nucky.

Hurricane Sandy wiped out most of the boardwalk so I am sure he is going to be hurting from lack of tourism/alcohol sales alone.

The guys they will more likely kill are Harrow, Gyp and Sleater since they are made up characters like Jimmy was.

I have found this season to be very very boring tbh.

Seriously, what has happened of note? Not impressed for a show I had very high expectations for.

I'd like to see Nucky call on Richard Harrow's sniper skills in the war against Gyp & Masseria.

Google for the synopsis of each one and you get an idea of what is probably going to happen.

I have to catch up withe the 3rd series.

Love this show...I have only watched it on plane rides.
I need to get all three series and watch the ones i have missed.

It's been boring, but the last two episodes have turned it around.

I thought the opposite to be honest.

First two or three eps were good and then its just been downhill from there.

So far if you look at the ending of season 2 what has happened? Gyp Rosettie showed up and caused some shit. Other than that Season 3 could start tmrw and it would probably still make sense for the most part.

The writing has not been as good this season and a few scenes were so silly they had me rolling my eyes which has NEVER happened with this show before. Nonetheless, I can't stop watching.

Am I the only one that dislikes that Owen character? Slick bastard (not only talking about the affair)

he is probably my least favorite character, he brings nothing to the table

Rosetti character is by far the best/strongest character this year.

In real life Nucky lives a very long life. So I would assume this isnt the case....

Best show ever and they should never end it!

Not even close. Sopranos and the Wire have this beat by a mile. Breaking Bad, Mad Men are two recent shows I liked more as well.

How did the Main ACTOR of BOARD WALK EMPIRE fix his TEETH like that?

15 years ago in FARGO, he had fucked up teeth, all yellow as fuck and ugly.. now his teeth are perfect, WTF?... A whitenning doesn't do that.

This show has several more seasons left in the tank. And I don't mind at all that they (the writers, producers) take thier time in spots developing storylines and setting things up. Slow or fast plot, this show is very well-cast, well written and well-acted, and well worth watching.

Once nucky's head stops ringing and he starts being able to focus he's going to go all Capone on everyone who crossed him. Did none of you take note of the look on his face as they were walking out on him?

There were a few major booze wars back in the 20's, I think we're about to see one soon, if not this season then definitely next.
