I stepped back a bit from the whole condom thing and started thinking about who or what has done the most damage to Porn Valley. Now right now if you ask people they will tell ya that its AHF, Michael Weinstein, that condom legislation. Of course that isn’t what they were saying just a few months ago. Then it was piracy. AVN even did an article on it in the July edition and all the porners they asked agreed piracy was the biggest problem they faced. One person, Dan from Girlfriends Films thought it was condom legislation.

But the truth is they were right, piracy has decimated the industry like nothing else, that is and should be porn enemy number ONE.

Take a look at the gaping asshole to the left. That is the face of modern piracy. His name, as most of you know, is Fabian Thylmann and the company he runs, Manwin, owns eight of the ten largest piracy tube sites in the world. He and the company he manages have done more to decimate Porn Valley than a hundred Michael Weinsteins. Even to this day he continues to make pirated content available for free via his tube sites and the owners of the content like Marie Madison are summarily ignored when they ask him to remove it or DMCA him.

So many others are kissing your ass. Im sick of you and your given attitude that you can take whatever content you want without permission. You have ruined this industry, by taking what is not YOURS. The rest of you can kiss Fabian/Manwins ass. But until he actually steps up and actually pays for content he does not own he can kiss my ass.

Fabian you are the reason this industry is in disarray. You claim you aren’t into illegal content but ye you continually use content you have no right too. You got screeners from my distributor and turned it down for licensing. Now, all of my content is all over your sites. You dont respond to my DMCA requests, and if you do it is for only a day or two. Step up Fabian/Manwin and do what is right.”

There are an awful lot of people who are finally waking up to the fact that this ass pimple is a scourge on the industry, but it may be too little too late. Manwin has bought up much of the industry in “fire sale” conditions. He has also bought the FSC. Diane Duke who was not long ago whoring for money using the mantra piracy is destroying us is now the hand puppet of of Fabian Thylmann.

So when you look at your bottom line and its in shambles compared to what it was five or six years ago, remember to thank this guy for making that happen, this particular dick is so diseased with lying and corruption that a whole box of condoms won’t protect the industry. And there’s not a fucking thing you can do about it.

Two people I know the most have almost same stats as I do, my income went up every year from 2000 to 2008 and down every year since then. My two friends who run 10 and 30 times more sites then me are about the same except 2007 was peak. So what all went down around that time to fuck shit up again?

Well I have no clue who you are and I only know about Mr. Thylmann because of this forum. But since I enjoy a good spectacle, I would just like to give you some advise.

Set up on your site an annonymous tips section.

A simple form that anyone can come and send you a little message without the need for registering, e-mail address or worry about being tracked. Certainly you would get a lot of garbage but I am also certain you would be nicely surprised at who would be willing to communicate what they know. (All it takes is one angry employee to tell you what she knows)

Perhaps you could also set up an account where people can donate money for a reward to the person that gives the tip/information that sees your end goal achieved. (All it takes is one person to need the money)

I'm curious as to why Marie Madison would not (or maybe she has) engage an attorney to sue for copyright violation. If would seem to be fairly easy to find a lawyer that would work for a percentage of settlement for such an open and shut case. It would seem to be kind of hard to defend if you are caught red-handed using other peoples property to make money. If someone steals from you and you can prove it, how can they defend themselves?

This one could go on awhile.

no single person and/or company can make or break this industry there are too many independents/rogues/rebels etc for this to happen. unless one company owns all the hosting, billing, and other struts that support everyones day to day ops business will continue as usual. this dude just so happens to be fortunate for the moment to have a chokehold on content/distribution and most people know this. do i think they will be around 10 years from now... heh. but if you still put out good stuff and stream it so its next to impossible to rip/share then you should be all good provided there is a demand for what you have. am i right or wrong here?

Exactly the point I made in the original thread on Xbiz the started this topic, if Fabian rode off into the sunset today it would have very little effect on the overall industry as a whole.

This people in this industry who a suffering is suffering for the following reasons :
1: they mass produce tours and call them sites ( no real conversion testing, tweaking and tuning )
2: they produce 10k hosted galleries + 1K flv videos and think their promo tools are done
3: they rely on webmasters who can only promote stuff through XML blogposts, hosted galleries, hosted movies etc... Then outsource the writing to some $2 / hour "creative writer"

I think piracy only play a smaller role in the declined sales

I have no problem with people not in the USA, but one thing that bothers me is how delusional they are about the importance of USA in their country and the lack of importance of their country in the USA.

Also every company who hires people from outside US (affiliate payout can be considered salary in terms of leeching US wealth).
As for trade and "getting something back" they are getting back non american customers. Numbers may be lower but not every international trade is fair as well. For example you can buy something from X country for 100, then sell it to someone else in that country for 150. Here you "sucked off the wealth" lol.
