Long story but it wasn't those .info cam sites for me.

The drama is over $25 investment that didn't work out? What exactly happened? He didn't deliver the site/script/etc at all? or it turned out not to be profitable?

Look at the threads you can see a lot of people bought this and then he disappeared not delivering the (yes $25 investment) returned investment people paid.
He set mine up and i got a few joins to chaturbate but that was it.

When you guys say scammer do you mean he scammed you out of a decent amount of money or just a couple $100 or less?

I don't care about the little chaturbate thing, I was working with him on some other bigger things and had mid-upper $x,xxx invested and he just vanished (and his buddy). Guess it's my own stupid fault but I really didn't see that coming 'cause his rep here was decent before all of this.. oh well lol. I hope he needed 'it'.

When this stocktrader23 appeared he also contacted lots of chaturbate models offering businesses to them too.
I exchanged with him a couple of emails about tubecamgirl but he vanished when seen he could do no any scam or ponzi scheme using our site :)

He is another one that didn't seem right to me. He talked a BIG GAME. I tried calling him on a few times but it seemed like he had some kind of past cred (who knows if he did) so I stopped that.

Turns out my gut was right yet again.

I've learned in this biz that the truly best and most successful people are unassuming.

Years ago I started doing biz with Stunner Media because I sent an ICQ to someone I figured was the affiliate manager about some banners. We got to chatting and I was talking about some projects I wanted to do. The guy said "let me talk to my biz partner and let's try to make it happen." I had no idea WHO I was talking to didn't think he was an owner. Many sites together later the rest is history.

I simply don't trust people that talk a big game because in the end that's usually all it is.

Yes bigger game they talk about, more likely it ends to be a poker bluffing or ponzi/scam scheme or simply an idiot who delusionally believes he is cool.

I still remeber one guy who, many years ago (when busines still was big cash, so "believable" more than today), had that big project, including patents registered and some big investors and partners, one was an online business with revenue of hundred millions $ (shame on me I did not contacted each to verify they backed him).
So this guy wanted to setup as part of this mega project, some mega cam studio in Kiev (Ukraine), and I had to organise and direct this thing... so he came in Kiev and stay for a week or two in a very luxury flat in center, I had to find for him a Jaguar with driver and a bodyguard, and bring him around with interpreter (my russian sucks even more than my english lol) to deal to rent or buy (!?) some big building where do the studios, like 20 big rooms needed more than a million dollar to buy such a place (visited many places and dealt many real estate owners), plus furniture and all the stuff (so go visit furniture shops, architects)... do interviews for hire workers and so on. And visit top lawyers (one was the Yuschenko president's one, righbt after Orange revolution) and accountants for setup the cash flows and corporate and not breach any law despite girls are quite naked and so on.

It ended up into nothing, he vanished, I worked in Kiev 2 weeks for free (well let's say I made some training, it's still an experience, and had other biz there anyway), and while at least he paid himself the place he rented and the bodyguard, leaved "to pay" the Jaguar+driver and some other stuff, which I paid for him. Had some guy who introduce him to me to write him letter via his attorney so he give me at least some $3000 or so for the Jaguar rent, forgot details and no idea the threats he got, but he paid this after 6 months or so... finally not sooo bad for me, I lost more in Epassporte, this guy was definitely a notable con artist - his project was not even a bad idea, just I think he had all in motoin claiming everyone gave ok green light, before that any investors really backed him, and when someone said they did not backed, he called the poker hand with the others involved :)

Definitely the pre-2008 "big games" was bigger, coud be $10million games... now people are not believing when there's more than $10k involved...

I'm still not sure if he "scammed" me or anyone. I think he's a bit more capable of scamming a large amount if that was his plan. Just wondering wtf happened to the dude... lol@ the appliance store.. I think his dad runs it though not him anymore.

The chaturbate thing was not a scam because I know how much he was making off from it and it was next to nothing at the time, the catch for him on that (and those who bought in) was the long term but if anyone remembers chaturbate had ditched one of their affiliate models that his setup ran on and it threw a stick in the spokes of what he had setup or perhaps ruined it.

Like I said I know the guy is capable of "scamming" on a much larger scale if that were his plan so I don't see why he would vanish over the pennies he made from the chaturbate thing. I had plans to invest even more $$ with him so I also don't see why he would scram the way he did unless something really happened to him or his living situation. But who knows... oh well, charge it to the game..

Oh I see.. yeah he's a weird person. Well I got enough crazy ideas off him from talking to him all day every day anyway so I can at least see a positive outlook about it if he did run off. :2 cents:

For the record I got all but $100 of it back over the course of 3 or 4 months.
I don't know what happened to him other than he changed his ICQ, AIM, and emails. So it looks like he was hiding from something.
I was posting what I knew to help Jakez but it looks like he doesn't mind losing several thousand bucks.

Maybe we need to have a homecoming party for him now and just welcome him back into the community! :thumbsup:thumbsup

lol. so true. There are so many people here who have conditioned themselves to believe that it's perfectly acceptable for people to rip them off so long as it's not for an amount greater than what looks to be some mythical baller cutoff point or something.

$10k would buy a lot of used appliances that can be reconditioned and sold.
