Why not 3G? My seems to work in snow, heavy rain....

Already have the tmobile 4g hotspots
But we are in a overall bad cell

We have just got 4G here in the UK - So far for me 3G is faster and that's in Central London. I also have to have the window open for 4G, when I close it I get ZERO...

The cost is ridiculous as well.

My Internet was down last week. Fault at exchange - Not snow etc...

BUT...

I goy a CHEAP 3G mobile - & I Used it as a 'hotspot'

Faster than my normal connection by far... :2 cents:

My internet's patchy since it started to cool down and rain more, seems the cable up the mountain has been shot at and waters leaking in. 3g mobile works o.k but I've got 2ft thick stone walls built into the side of a slope, so have to be near a window.

They better mend it soon though its starting to piss me off.

What did you pick up? I'm looking to get one for the winter - lost my internet for weeks last year. :-/

I already forgot about dial-up internet... Do you think anyone has dial-up modems in modern computers?

Get a long range wifi antenna and use your neighbors wifi. :)

Come and hang out in Montreal for a few until it settles down ;)

Will be getting a back up account other than my Verizon and DSL that will also work with my RV too.

do they do commercial properties? or any satellite providers that you know of?
