Do you ever send (Unsolicited) customer follow up emails?

I am not talking about 'Adult' or 'Websites' - I mean in real life...

Fo example, if you goto a store, and are not informed, but the sales guy helps you, takes time to explain, and gives you both exactly what you wanted, needed, and doesn't screw you over...

Do you ever send a follow up email to the store, to praise his service?

The B.Barnato 3 inch (life Size) EXTENDED pleasure?

Didn't realise you offered PERSONAL service... If I'd known, I would have hit you up direct...

I would have liked to have sent it to you, for you to autograph, but I doubt you could fit you're whole name on it... :winkwink:

I have before. Went on 'holiday' a few months back and the place was all inclusive. My son has a ton of food allergies, so we brought our own food for him. The restaurant staff asked us what he could eat and they went out and bought ingredients to make sure he could eat at the restaurants as well. Send the corporate headquarters a letter pointing out that the staff went out of the way to help us out.

That is pretty amazing. Was it a very upscale place?

Not at all. Family budget type place.

We have been to very upscale places that not only didn't help at all, but refused to let us bring food into their restaurants for my son. (Which I can understand on a level, but we ended up having all our meals poolside or in our room.)

Follow up email for that? No. but we have many times asked for the manager right in front of the employee and praised the person for the assistance right there.

Sadly it never really goes far for the employee.

We have some hotels here that are like that. even some of the 5 star as long as you give them advanced notice. Believe it or not, you can do the same on a cruise. so dont let the issue stop you from taking one of those.

:)

Sorry to hear that about the kid.

Ooo...that's good to know. Thanks. :thumbsup

Kiddo deals with it well. He's only two, so he's not at the point where we're dealing with "Hey, why can't I eat that?" yet.

I have on rare occasions.

SilentKnight 11-07-2012 05:43 PM

Sent Sony a letter years ago praising them about an 8mm camcorder I bought in the late 80s. We put the camera through hell for more than a decade...it took a real beating and wouldn't die. Shot thousands of hours of video with it throughout the 80s and 90s.

Sony sent me a nice Xmas card that same year. :1orglaugh
